Event season is in full swing and we know that getting out is the goal, but deciding where to go or having a plan is sometimes the hard part. Bike the Drive – Sunday, May 28, 2017

Edgewater | The Route:

How to get there from SoNu Digs (train lines): Make your way to the North/Clybourn redline stop where you’ll ride for 17 minutes and get off at Berwyn. Then, get some of your 10,000 steps in with a 10-minute walk to the event.

Want exclusive access to Lake Shore Drive for one day only this year? You’ll have to bike it! During the five-hour timeslot with no cars allowed, bike from Bryn Mawr Ave to the Museum of Science industry and back while enjoying the beautiful weather and amazing views.

Old Town Art Fair – June 10, 2017 – 10am to 7pm

Main gate located at Lincoln Avenue & Wisconsin Street

How to get there from SoNu Digs (train lines): Take the train from the North Ave & Fremont stop to the North Ave & North Park stop. A short 8-minute walk will place you right at the fair.

 Muse over the art from over 250 nationally acclaimed artists, enjoy live music, take a garden walk and indulge in delicious food and drinks at the Old Town Art Fair. Being able to view everything from photography to jewelry will keep every minute of the festival interesting and new

Taste of Lincoln Avenue – July 29-30, 2017 – Noon to 10pm

How to get there from SoNu Digs (train lines): Hop onto the Halsted & Blackhawk stop, which you’ll take to the Halsted & Altgeld stop. Take a short 2-minute walk after getting off and you’ll be at the festival.

 The massive, well-known event covers six city blocks right in Lincoln Park. You can visit more than 250 vendors of food, art and more, as well as listen to around 30 different music acts performing on four stages. We’ll see you on Lincoln Avenue.
